Lake & Outdoors
Absolutely incredible stay, the photos don’t even do it justice. The home has everything you could possibly need: a full kitchen with all the right equipment, cozy beds with great linens, a workspace, and tons of games. The outdoor spaces were a highlight, two fire pits, an amazing hot tub, a beautiful lakefront deck, plus a wooded backyard so you really get the best of both worlds. The hosts were super communicative and quick to answer any questions. We had such a relaxing time; thank you! We’ll definitely be back.
Very charming! We loved the decor and vibe of the space and appreciated the attention to detail (towels provided for lake, board games, kitchen appliances, etc). We spent even more time at the lake area than in the house. The deck is perfect for relaxing and playing games and we took the kayaks, paddle boards, and floaty out several times. Would definitely come back or recommend to a friend.
A gem of a house. Adorably decorated, with a well-stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds! Sparkling clean too. But the location is what really set it apart for us. The front porch was the most peaceful spot to relax and view the lake, and the porch/patio across the road was an oasis. We spent so much time there, kayaked, stand up paddle-boarded, sun bathed and then watched the moon rise every night over the lake. Truly a special spot!

The view of the lake alone from the beautiful deck is worth the price.
Clean comfortable accommodations. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. I’ll likely make a return trip if they’ll have us back. What really stood out to me was the cleanliness of the hot tub - I’ve stayed in plenty of rental homes with hot tubs and theirs was the cleanest yet! Kudos
This house is unique in its victorian charm! Looked pretty new! We loved the hot tub and the deck across the street overlooking the beautiful lake! We also enjoyed the kayaks! We had a great vacation! Its also very close to the Deleware river where we went to spend the day!
The lake front area was lovely and perfect for boating, swimming, and bonfires. The kitchen was very clean.

This property is an absolutely perfect getaway. The access to the lake is great, having kayaks to enjoy the lake was even better! The deck was an amazing place to catch some sun, play some games, and just relax. The home was stunning, the artwork and detail in every room was remarkable.

We absolutely loved this cozy Airbnb! The decor was thoughtfully designed, featuring a fun and eclectic style that made the space feel unique. The home was clean and well-equipped with cooking essentials, towels, and all the necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed the stunning lake views and made great use of the amenities, especially the hot tub. The provided instructions for operating everything in the home were greatly appreciated. Additionally, the location was charming and conveniently accessible for exploring the town. I would highly recommend staying here, and I would definitely consider a return visit! This place made for a perfect Valentine’s Day weekend getaway—10/10!

Perfect get away from the city! My wife and I and our two kids were keen for a weekend away from Manhattan, and this was exactly what we needed. We cooked, we sat in the hot tub, we watched movies in the parlor, and we ate one meal at the cochecton firestation omg so so good!
We had an amazing weekend! The place was beautiful and filled with fun activities! Getting around to cute towns, beautiful hikes, and delicious food/breweries/ciders was so easy! Spent the weekend talking about how we can’t wait to come back 🥳

We couldn’t believe we scored sara’s place for our trip up for a concert at bethel woods. It was as described, and actually exceeded every expectation we had. Everyone in our group could not stop commenting on how clean it was, how well decorated, and how every time we needed something, we easily found it. We loved the lake area, and were surprised to find some new paddle boards to use since we were only expecting kayaks! The beds were so comfortable and we were happy to have the ac units in the bedrooms. The drive to bethel was fast and easy as well and we’ll definitely be prioritizing this property for all concerts in the future. Book this place, you will be so happy you did!

Excellent location close to Bethel Woods for a reasonable price. The place was clean and the instructions provided by the owner were clear and helpful. Loved the seating area by the water. We would definitely stay there again.
We had the best time at this beautiful house. The hosts were extremely responsive and communicative. The lakefront deck and spacious backyard were highlights for us. We felt right at home and it was the perfect place for a retreat from the city!

We liked EVERYTHING! Sarah's place has anything you might want... 2 beautiful sitting rooms, filled with natural light, a full roomy kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 spacious bedrooms, a hot tub, a front porch with unobstructed view of the lake, a lakefront patio with lounge chairs, kayaks, a firepit, wonderful books, records, and fine antique details throughout.
If you want to go back in time for a couple of days in a cozy, Victorian-themed, modern- amenities-flegded then book this Airbnb now, extend your legs in the hot tub out back, grill some barbecue right next to it, and embrace in the serenity & silence of the parlor with a lovely book & record playing the back. Sarah & the Mountain Angels Team were very proactive, helpful & clear with instructions.

The house was beautiful and the amateur genealogists me loved the history. The lake was peaceful. And even the rain didn’t damper our stay. An afternoon of scrabble in the front parlor was just the key. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Sarah's place was exactly as described and matched the pictures. Lake access across the street was beautiful and we loved the kayaks and paddle boards. The main attraction was the outdoor spaces as the inside did not have a layout for all 8 guests to comfortably gather around the tv. Kitchen was functional but did not have large pots and pans only smaller ones. Hosts were very responsive and we had no confusion during our stay.
The house was great, just like the pictures. Included 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards, which we all enjoyed. The fire pit and hot tub were a great way to end the night. The lake deck with lounge chairs is nice and private. The lake is across a road from the house, so it can be difficult with young children (kids need to be crossed with an adult to use the bathroom, etc), which I didn’t realize when booking. Kitchen and bathroom came fully stocked . Everything was nice and clean and just like the pictures. Would love to come back another summer!
We had a few friends join us at the house to celebrate a birthday. We spent the days swimming in the lake and soaking in the hot-tub and had everything we could need. I could tell that the house and outdoor area are very well taken care of. We had everything we needed to relax. The lake is beautiful and serene and the house is cute and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and bake. Very lovely weekend, would love to go back.
We had a wonderful time! It was like staying in a life size Victorian doll house, but with all the upgrades! My daughter and used almost every amenity! The lake decks and kayaking and paddle boards were relaxing and fun. It’s a little tricky getting in the kayaks if you have limited mobility but we worked it out fine. One day was a rainy day, but we had so much fun staying inside the cozy home. There was so much to do! We used the hot tub every night, the kitchen was great! I’m so thankful for her binder with everything you could possibly want/need and then some. She included an original photo of her special home from the 1800s. Soooo cool! We kept talking about how much fun it would be with more of our family and hope to do this again and come back.
Stayed for 2 nights at Sarah's and Anthony's House. The House is beautifully decorated and has everything you need! The deck with the lake in the front is AMAZING! We enjoyed very much and leveraged the lake - stand-up paddle, float platform, swimming, fire pit in the deck, games, sun bathing - every minute! The house is very private and peaceful. Sarah and Anthony were very friendly and very responsive. They have a binder with all instructions you need and tons of recommendation. We went to Narrowsburg, that is a small and very charming city and it is a short drive from the house. We will definitely come back, as we go every year for Frechwoods visiting weekend.
Me and my college friends had an amazing girls weekend at lake Huntington! It was so peaceful, private, and gabbing all day on the paddle boards was the highlight! A trip we will absolutely never forget thanks to the beautiful home and location<3
Sarah’s place feels like home away from home. It is clean and private and the front-lake oasis is he deal breaker. The surrounding itself is very quiet and not very busy at all. Our stay was very relaxing and the house provided all the basic necessities plus more. We visited the other local stores and did one day of water rafting in the Delaware River Gap and most of the time just chill. We used the hot tub, the paddle board and kayak several times. The lake itself is very peaceful and not crowded. In addition, the vinyl player was a hit to my teenage kids. Overall, it was a great and fun experience.
We were three friends meeting up for a few days' vacation together, and had a wonderful time at Sarah's place. It was plenty of space for us. We enjoyed the lakefront area at all times of day and used the kayaks and paddleboards to hang out on the lake. We went to the nearby site of Woodstock and did some hiking in the area as well. The one thing to note is that there is a distribution business with trucks next door that were sometimes operating at night and made some noise, so sensitive sleepers may want to bring earplugs. There is a fence between the house and the business to help create privacy. Overall, we had a great stay here.

Where to begin... came up with 4 adults and 2 kids for a quick weekend stay. We have stayed at many Airbnbs in multiple countries around the world. Most of them are just a place to stay in the area you want to be but a few gems stand out that are thoughtful in decor and the way they are furnished. This home is one of those. From the record player with the music selection to match where you are, to the books laid out to read, and the furniture etc it just fits. some of the highlights: The lakeside deck with fire pit and kayaks speaks for itself. rainy day games in the chest the nice sized jacuzzi was also great in the rain rocking chairs and swing on porch when the sun came out suntan on lake deck then kayak+tube and lake swimming we came for a short weekend stay and did not need to leave the house and lakefront for the 48 hours we were there. kitchen had all the basics and then plenty on top. nespresso or kuerig. tea. bbq smoker outside. all utensils. A+++ will be back thanks!!!
